We're working with an exciting stealth-mode fintech who are searching for a Full Stack Developer to join their growing London team. The business operates at the cutting edge of financial infrastructure and regulatory compliance. Backed by $3.5M in seed funding from three serial founders who have each previously built, scaled, and exited businesses, this is a rare chance to get in at the ground floor of something genuinely exciting.
The Opportunity
You'll be one of the first two engineers on the London team, working directly with the CTO and collaborating with colleagues in New York. This isn't a role where you'll be maintaining legacy code. You'll have real ownership over technical decisions and direct impact on the product from day one. The work spans backend services powering reserve monitoring and compliance reporting, integrations with financial data providers and banking APIs, and the frontend dashboards that make that data actionable for clients.
The Stack
- Python
- FastAPI
- Pydantic
- React
- Vite
- Postgres
- Redis
- Vercel
- Render
- Kinde
What they're looking for:
- Strong Python development experience, particularly in data-intensive or financial applications
- Solid full stack capability across backend and React frontend
- High agency, someone that will take ownership, move fast, and won't need hand-holding
- Comfortable in an early-stage environment with evolving requirements
- Excellent communication skills
