Industry: Consultancy

Contract Duration: 5 months (Up until the end of the year – but big chance of extension)

Location: Remote/London at least once a week

Day Rate: £500-£600 per day dependant on experience (Inside IR35)

The Role:

  • Lead engineering functions spanning DevOps, testing, analytics and Azure spend management
  • Get hands-on with third-party development and data teams based in India, keeping delivery on track
  • Oversee infrastructure across capacity planning, priorities and ongoing improvements
  • Bring AI tooling into the team to support delivery and increase capacity
  • Provide budget input and manage risk across the function
  • Work closely with a team of 15
  • Genuinely hands-on, not just strategic oversight
  • Support a two-week handover period, including sitting in on half-year reviews

Skills Needed:

  • Proven experience coordinating third-party/offshore teams and delivery pipelines
  • Strong stakeholder management, able to bridge technical and business priorities
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure environments
  • Strong background in Azure, DevOps and Power Platform
  • AI experience highly desirable, specifically around governance and controlled implementation rather than just usage
  • Genuinely hands-on approach, able to get into the detail
