Model: Onsite Bournemouth
Compensation: Up to 77k DOE + bonus + other benefits

You'll play a key role in designing, developing, and launching new features that make a real impact. This is a great opportunity to work with the latest Java technologies (Java 11+, JDK 17) and gain experience in a cloud-native, microservices-driven environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Design clean, scalable backend systems with a strong focus on best practices.
- Collaborate with a talented engineering team to design, build, and maintain high-quality applications.
- Maintain code integrity, organization, and ensure application responsiveness.
- Apply best practices around security and data protection.
- Work extensively with Core Java 11+, Spring Framework, REST Web Services, JDBC, and Microservices.
- Utilize version control systems (Git, Mercurial, SVN).
Bonus if you have experience with cloud messaging APIs and push notifications!
What we're looking for:
- Strong backend development skills using Java 11 and above, with certification in JDK 17 a big plus.
- Good experience with Oracle & PL/SQL.
