Looking for an experienced Quality Engineering Senior Manager, to lead and mature our clients Test Engineering capability at scale. This role owns the day-to-day leadership and evolution of quality practices across the organisation, working in close partnership with Engineering, Product, and DevOps leadership. You will lead an established Test Engineering organisation and be responsible for improving consistency, effectiveness, and scalability of testing across teams. The focus is on raising standards, modernising test capability, and embedding quality-first engineering, rather than growing headcount.
This is a hands-on, technically credible leadership role, requiring the ability to operate from strategic planning through to deep technical discussions with senior engineers and architects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the evolution and execution of the organisation's Test Engineering strategy.
- Drive quality outcomes across four core pillars:
- Functional & Regression Testing
- Test Automation
- Performance Engineering
- Certification & Compliance Testing
- Proven experience leading large-scale Test or Quality Engineering teams.
- Strong hands-on background in test automation, performance testing, and quality system design.
- Experience managing managers with clear technical credibility.
- Ability to influence senior engineering stakeholders without formal executive authority.
