They are looking for Senior and Principal Data Consultants who can combine deep technical expertise with strategic vision. This Data practice sits at the intersection of technical delivery and strategic advisory. You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Lead modern data architecture initiatives and cloud transformation programmes (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Design and implement scalable, cloud-native data platforms and ecosystems
- Drive integration of data governance, cataloguing, privacy, and metadata capabilities
- Define enterprise data strategies across complex programmes and business units
- Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for large-scale data migrations and transformations
- Conduct business analysis to define data requirements and support metadata management
- Map source-to-target transformations and identify critical data entities and relationships
- Support data governance forums, standards enforcement, and compliance initiatives
- Partner with C-suite stakeholders to craft enterprise-level data and AI strategies
- Identify high-impact AI use cases and define value propositions aligned to business goals
- Transform operating models to become insight-led and AI-enabled
- Lead executive workshops and develop compelling business cases that secure investment
Thought Leadership & Business Development
- Act as a subject matter expert on emerging data and AI technologies
- Shape proposals, contribute to business development, and position the firm as a thought leader
- Mentor junior consultants and help build data and AI propositions
- Present technical concepts in business-friendly language to diverse stakeholders
Qualifications
- 6-10+ years in data consulting, architecture, modelling, or strategy roles within Financial Services
- Proven track record delivering data transformation programmes for banking, insurance, or asset management clients
- Deep knowledge of data modelling practices (conceptual, logical, physical) and industry standards (fpML, FIX, FIBO)
- Hands-on experience with cloud data ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data stacks
- Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, and security frameworks
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
Technical Capabilities
- Experience with data modelling tools (Erwin, Sparx, Power Designer, Visual Paradigm)
- Knowledge of RDBMS, UML, JSON/XML schemas, and agile project lifecycles
- Familiarity with cloud data migration strategies and data management tools
- Understanding of AI/ML technologies, GenAI applications, and AI governance practices
Strategic Mindset
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and vice versa
- Experience crafting executive-level narratives and influencing senior decision-makers
- Comfortable working in ambiguity with a collaborative, outcomes-driven approach
- Workshop design and facilitation skills for cross-functional alignment
