Are you an experienced Senior Platform Engineer ready for a step up, or already a Principal or Lead and looking for an exciting new opportunity to join a fast moving and collaborative team? The platform is built by the Platform Engineering Department and runs the secure hosting core for every product developed by the Software Engineering Teams.
Its a private platform which runs across Data Centres, private cloud and public cloud. This covers runtime, network, identity, secrets, edge observability and recovery. The Software Engineering team's are very much AI focused to enable faster development and your role will be to design the platform and write the software running it.
Youll be working across Systems, Network, Reliability and Performance, IS Engineers and DevOps.
What will you be doing?
- Platform architecture across secure hosting on-prem, private cloud, OCI, AWS and Azure
- Designing and running DNS inc. DNSSEC and accepting traffic via Cloudflare
- Identity and directory migrating from AD to Entra ID
- Design and run the cert authority on HashiCorp
- Moving from hardware rules to an API driven policy
- Building software driving DNS, Load Balancers, Firewalls, Service Discovery and Cloud through their APIs
- Public, private and hybrid cloud experience
- DNS, authoritative and recursive DNA, DNSSEC, split horizon
- Public Key Infrastructure, CA hierarchy design, mTLS at scale
- Network security with TCP/IP, Load Balancing, firewalls
- Software engineering expertise in C#, Java, Go. Rust or any other statically typed language
