What you'll be doing:
- Crafting high-performance, distributed backend systems that sit at the core of enterprise financial platforms - using modern Java and Spring Boot
- Taking the lead on service design and API development, ensuring solutions are robust, maintainable, and built to last
- Owning the full deployment lifecycle on AWS - from infrastructure provisioning through to live production environments - with automation and repeatability at the forefront
- Getting stuck into architecture conversations early, bringing strong opinions and practical experience to the table

What we're looking for:
- A seasoned Java engineer with a strong command of modern Java versions and a proven ability to deliver at scale using Spring Boot

- Hands-on experience running workloads in AWS, with a solid understanding of how to build and maintain cloud infrastructure responsibly
- Practical knowledge of message streaming technologies and how they're used to connect systems reliably at scale
