Location: Glasgow, 5 days onsite

Day Rate: £140 - £180 (dependant on experience) per day Inside IR35

The Role:

  • Provide L1/L2 IT support to end users across the Glasgow office, handling incidents and service requests via ServiceNow
  • Build, configure and deploy Microsoft Surface laptops ready for end user use
  • Carry out regular floor walks to proactively identify and resolve issues before they escalate
  • Act as the primary onsite point of contact for all day-to-day technical support needs
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 issues including Teams, Outlook, OneDrive and SharePoint
  • Log, update and close tickets accurately within ServiceNow, maintaining clear documentation throughout
  • Liaise directly with users at all levels to ensure a high standard of customer service

Skills Needed:

  • Proven L1/L2 deskside or onsite IT support experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 - Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying laptops, ideally Microsoft Surface devices
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or a comparable ITSM ticketing platform
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable working with end users at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload in a busy office environment
  • Based locally in Glasgow or within easy commuting distance of G2
