The predicted salary is between 75000 - 105000 £ per year.
We’re looking for an experienced Software Leader who can push forward into building a first-class software engineering department. This role requires someone who is a Software Engineering Leader that’s not too far removed from the tech stacks, and is able to drive innovation through cross-functional teams. You will be used to helping Software Engineers and Software Engineering Managers within your team grow and help guide them through learning and helping them overcome challenging projects. The Director of Software Engineering will be hiring and retaining their talent in a competitive market, and being a driver for culture and enabling your teams and team members accomplish what they need to do.
What we’re looking for:
- A strong background in software engineering with hands on capability with front end development
- Able to keep your toe dipped in the technology providing architect
- Software Engineering Director who’s overseen 10 or more Software Engineers and is comfortable leading a group of up to 20
- Over 5 years of managerial experience
- Mix of technical and people management
- Experience in mentoring new managers to build out Software Engineering Teams
- Comfortable with leading cross functional teams
