A growing payment technology provider is seeking a Certification Analyst to join their agile and collaborative engineering team. You’ll take ownership of the certification lifecycle for payment systems, working with payment terminals, mobile platforms, and APIs to ensure compliance with processor and industry standards. This role is ideal for someone passionate about problem-solving, technical testing, and device integration—particularly within the EMV and payments space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute EMV certification processes for terminals, SDKs, and gateway integrations.
  • Build and run manual and automated test scripts for device and system validation.
  • Set up and configure payment terminals, mobile devices, and test environments.
  • Use industry tools (e.g., UL EMV, Postman, Selenium) to execute certification tests and submit results.
  • Liaise with processors and internal teams to resolve issues and track progress.
  • Document certification procedures and maintain reusable test assets.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of submitted test results and paperwork.

What You'll Need

  • 2+ years of experience in payment certification, QA, or related testing environments.
  • Working knowledge of payment processing, APIs, and terminal-based transactions.
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools like Postman, Selenium, or Cucumber.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs (SOAP knowledge is a bonus).
  • Proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Word, and Excel.
  • Exposure to UL EMV tools or similar testing platforms is highly desirable.
  • Basic networking knowledge to troubleshoot connectivity issues.
