The Role:
- Continue development of serverless, event-driven integrations on AWS
- Build and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js
- Develop and enhance APIs supporting Nutrition platform features
- Work on health claims calculation logic and data processing pipelines
- Automate infrastructure and deployments using CloudFormation and Azure DevOps
- Ensure systems are secure, reliable, and scalable
- Identify and resolve security issues within the ODS ecosystem
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to deliver ongoing project work
Skills Needed:
- Strong experience with Node.js backend development
- Hands-on experience with AWS (Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, EventBridge)
- Experience working with serverless architectures
- Knowledge of messaging services such as Amazon SQS
- Familiarity with DynamoDB, S3, and OpenSearch
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation preferred)
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar)
