We’re looking for an experienced, hands‑on Financial Controller to support senior finance leadership and take ownership of accounting operations during a critical phase of growth and transformation. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys building processes, leading small teams, and operating in fast‑paced, scaling environments.
About the Role
- A qualified ACA, ACCA, or CPA (or equivalent)
- 6+ years into their accounting career with progressive responsibility
- Experienced in Big 4 or similar professional services firms
- Coming from a SaaS, technology, or high‑growth environment
- Strong in US GAAP, including multi‑entity and multi‑currency structures
- Confident owning month‑end close, revenue recognition, and general ledger
- Experienced transitioning work from offshore or outsourced teams
- Comfortable building and managing a small accounting team (1–2 people)
- Systems‑savvy, with experience using NetSuite, Salesforce, and Excel
- Adaptable, detail‑oriented, and comfortable in change‑driven environments
Responsibilities
- Owning day‑to‑day accounting operations including GL, revenue recognition, and close
- Leading the transition of accounting processes from offshore and outsourced providers to an in‑house model
- Building, managing, and mentoring a small accounting team with clear KPIs
- Ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under US GAAP
- Maintaining and improving internal controls and accounting policies as the business scales
- Partnering with global FP&A, tax, and compliance teams to ensure cross‑border alignment
- Supporting audits, board reporting, and ad hoc financial analysis
- Working closely with senior finance leadership to drive operational improvements
