Part of LSL Property Services plc, PRIMIS Mortgage Network are the largest Mortgage and Protection Network in the UK with some 1000 firms as business partners and circa 3000 advisors working alongside us. The Financial Services division also includes TMA (Mortgage Club) and Linear Financial Solutions. We are keen to recruit a highly experienced Head of Product Governance for the FS Division. The role will oversee and manage the product governance framework across our proposition, manage product and proposition risk, alongside creating, developing, and maximising new product and proposition innovation.

What the role entails:

  • To identify and interpret product and proposition regulation and risks and the subsequent delivery and oversight of a framework to manage these.
  • To design, deliver and oversee a due diligence process that ensures the appropriate assessment of new panel providers and lenders.
  • To design, deliver and oversee product line reviews and tenders to ensure the appropriateness of existing panels and/or the delivery of new propositions.
  • Ownership of proposition and product data, highlighting insights, opportunities, and risks.
  • To provide project management for product and proposition led projects and represent the division in other business projects.
  • To provide the conduit between the proposition team and group legal in the management of contractual negotiations with panel providers.
  • To effectively manage this resource and planning model.
  • To ensure that the proposition is fit for purpose and meets the needs of the end customer.
  • Through market knowledge, identify, develop, and deliver opportunities that support business objectives and proposition strategy.

Knowledge and Expertise required:

  • Delivery of a product set that demonstrates good outcomes for customers.
  • Current and detailed knowledge of regulatory requirements of financial services products including Mortgage and Insurance.
  • Current and detailed knowledge of product and proposition design and development.
  • Current and detailed knowledge of the intermediary market in financial services.
  • Success in previous product and proposition roles.
  • Substantial and demonstrable business experience within a financial services environment.
  • Analytical, Project Management experienced alongside Relationship Building.

Salary and Benefits: Monies from £65,000 DOE negotiable. Benefits include – Healthcare, Enhanced Pension, and various share-based incentives when available. The role is either home based (UK) or Hybrid (Solihull). Candidates will need to attend regular meetings in Solihull when required.
