The ideal candidate for the Verification Specialist will be required to do the following duties, but not limited to:
- Conduct phone interviews and internet-based research to complete and verify employment, education and Professional License information as reported by Client applicants.
- Organize assigned work to be completed in priority order, within an assigned time frame.
- Communicate with individuals via telephone to complete assigned employment, education and reference verification's.
- Reconcile any discrepancies identified during the investigation.
- Ensure client guidelines are followed.
- Monitor pending work levels to ensure timely completion of Client background reports.
- Maintain strict quality standards.
- Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
The requirements to be considered for the Verification Specialist opportunity are listed below:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
- Typing skills…speed and accuracy are required. 35-45 wpm
- Computer literacy in an Internet/Windows environment – able to navigate between dual computer screens. Microsoft Office Proficient.
- Must display a helpful demeanor, attention to detail, customer service orientation, and demonstrate the ability to be a contributing team member in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
