We’re looking for a curious, analytically minded intern to support experienced analysts within the Decision Support TEAM in financial planning and reporting activities, including building and automating reporting templates to support internal decision-making up to the Executive level. The intern will gain hands-on experience in data analysis and visualisation projects, contributing to real business insights and developing their ability to present findings to stakeholders. This role will report to the Manager, Decision Support.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, including insights on variance vs. Plan and prior periods
  • Assist in building and maintaining data visualisations for analysis and reporting
  • Support revenue and customer behaviour analytics to generate data-driven insights
  • Contribute to data validation checks across reporting tools to support accurate and consistent financial reporting
  • Explore the use of automation and AI tools to streamline regular reporting
  • Take ownership of a defined project and present findings to stakeholders

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Currently enrolled in a numerate, analytical, or related degree programme
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both in writing and verbally
  • Demonstrates curiosity and a willingness to ask questions and learn
  • Approaches problems with a critical mindset, and is comfortable challenging assumptions and conclusions
  • Responds positively to guidance and feedback, actioning accordingly
  • Demonstrates ability to prioritise work and manage time effectively
  • Some prior exposure to working with data in Excel, whether through academics, personal projects or previous work experience (desirable)
