Role Overview

The Domiciliary Care & Complex Care Manager is responsible for the end-to-end recruitment of care staff and for overseeing the delivery and development of the Complex Care division. Working closely with senior management, the post-holder ensures staffing levels meet service demands and that high-quality, safe, person-centred care is delivered in line with CQC standards, company policies, and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • The role leads all recruitment activity, including safer recruitment checks and staff onboarding, while maintaining a strong pipeline of skilled carers, particularly those with complex care experience.
  • The post-holder oversees complex care packages, ensuring staff are appropriately allocated, care plans and risk assessments are accurate and person-centred, and effective communication is maintained with healthcare professionals, families, commissioners, and external agencies.
  • The role also supports quality assurance through audits, monitoring care delivery, managing incidents and complaints, and ensuring staff receive appropriate training, supervision, and ongoing support.
  • Strong leadership is required to mentor staff, promote company values, and contribute to service development.

Person Specification

Applicants must have experience in domiciliary and/or complex care, proven coordination of complex care packages, strong recruitment experience within health or social care, and a good understanding of CQC regulations and safeguarding. Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills are essential.
