The People Team

Primer’s People team is here to build a great, sustainable business - and we know that our people are our competitive advantage. Work has changed a lot in recent years, and we see it as our job to reimagine the employee experience so it meets the diverse and evolving needs of our team. Since day one in 2019 we’ve been fully remote and globally distributed, and we’re proud to foster a culture built on trust, flexibility, and empowerment.

You’ll be joining a small but mighty team of two People Partners who work with a product mindset. That means we put our people at the heart of everything we build, creating experiences that help Primigos do their best work. We keep an eye on clear metrics like eNPS and eLTV:CAC, focus our energy on the things that make the biggest difference, and are always on the lookout for smarter ways to work through automation and AI.

This is a great opportunity to get broad exposure across People Ops in a fast-growing, global company. You’ll have the chance to learn, experiment, and shape how we support Primigos around the world.

What You’ll Do

People Operations

  • Keep the employee journey running smoothly, from onboarding and payroll through to offboarding.
  • Be a go-to person for Primigos with questions or requests, handling tickets through our Wrangle Slack app.
  • Help make sure every Primigo is paid accurately and on time by supporting global payroll and benefits.
  • Provide operational support for key people projects and initiatives, from preparing materials to tracking actions and keeping things moving.

Culture & communications

  • Keep our company-wide Townhalls engaging and useful by coordinating content and handling the logistics for our biweekly and quarterly sessions.
  • Help make our annual retreat and team workations unforgettable by helping to coordinate the logistics and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Be a champion for remote life: join our rituals, share updates, and help Primigos stay connected and informed.

Systems & compliance

  • Make sure our people platforms (e.g HiBob, Remote, Notion) are kept up to date, with clear documentation. You’ll help us build integrations and keep them running so our tools work for us, not the other way around.
  • You’ll support us with running audits on our people data to make sure everything is clean, accurate, and up to date - so we can spot and fix issues early.

We’d Love To Hear From You If

  • You’ve already had your first experience in a People, Operations, or EA role and are now looking for your next opportunity to step up and take on more responsibility in a fast-paced environment.
  • You love spotting problems and jumping in to solve them - you don’t wait to be told what to do.
  • You’re tech-savvy: you’re comfortable learning and using modern tools to manage workflows in a remote environment (e.g., Notion, Slack, Pitch, Google Workspace, AI tools).
  • You communicate well - we’re a fully remote company and work async a lot!
  • You have a great eye for detail.

Our Interview Process

  • The job ad will be open until Sunday 21st September and we will not be reviewing applicants until the week starting 22nd September.
  • Throughout the first part of that week, we will reply to everyone. Successful applicants will be invited to interview with the team and every single applicant will receive a message with our decision.
  • If you’re successful at this stage, our typical process is:
  • 45 minute screening interview with a member of our People team
  • 45 minute follow up interview with our VP People
  • 1 hour live task with a People Partner
  • 30 minute final interview with our COO

What’s In It For You

  • Full remote setup
  • Working with a Global team - we have Primigos in 32 countries
  • Annual Company Retreats and team Workations twice a year
  • Unlimited holiday
  • £500 yearly L&D budget
  • Private Medical Insurance
