The Drivers Helper plays a vital support role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and professional delivery of products to our customers. Working alongside the delivery driver, this person assists with loading, unloading, to Primelines hygiene and service standards. This role is key to maintaining our reputation for exceptional customer experience, combining operational reliability with a strong focus on cleanliness, teamwork, and customer care.
WHAT WILL YOUR DAY-TO-DAY LOOK LIKE?
- Support the delivery driver in loading and unloading.
- Ensuring compliance with Primelines hygiene procedures and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of completed deliveries using handheld or paper-based systems.
- Represent Primeline professionally on-site, providing friendly, efficient, and customer-focused service.
- Ensure vehicles and equipment are kept clean, organised, and in good working condition always.
- Assist in managing stock rotation and vehicle loading to optimise delivery routes and prevent damage.
- Report any customer feedback, delivery issues, or maintenance requirements promptly to the line manager or driver in charge.
