Prime Life is seeking dedicated care professionals to join as a Care Assistant at Holmes Court, South Wigston, Leicestershire. This role supports 29 residents with learning disabilities, sensory impairments, and mental health conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with personal hygiene and outfit selection
  • Support residents during mealtimes to promote good nutrition and hydration
  • Encourage residents to mobilise safely with mobility aids and specialist equipment
  • Provide friendship and companionship, and accompany residents on social outings or appointments
  • Maintain accurate and timely written records and complete documentation
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team and engage with other care professionals to promote health and well‐being
  • Welcome family members and assist with their enquiries

Qualifications

To be successful, you should have a genuine caring nature and a desire to make a real difference. Prior experience as a Care Assistant or support worker is desirable but not essential; full training is provided. Experience with dementia and dementia care is beneficial.
