Deputy/Dementia Care Manager – PrimeLife Ltd.

This role will be based at Peaker Park Care Village, in the heart of Market Harborough. The Care Village has been specially designed to cater to the needs of 137 residents, many of whom live with dementia and require personalised support to maintain their daily independence.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and support the care team with the Team Leader, ensuring high quality of care and service for residents.
• Ensure care plans are regularly reviewed and continuously assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident’s care.
• Encourage and engage the team, and conversate with residents at a level and pace that values the individual and respects their dignity and communication differences.
• Administer and record medication as prescribed, with accurate monitoring of drug dose for each resident.

Qualifications

• Genuine caring nature and a desire to make a real difference for residents.
• Experience leading a care team in a residential care home.
• Extensive experience within dementia care.
• Assist the Home Manager with day‑to‑day operations of the home, including staffing, operational and financial issues.
