Base pay range
Hourly rates ranging from £12.45 to £12.80 per hour depending on your qualification level.
Location
This role will be based at Meadow View Care Home, in Alcester, which has been specially designed to cater to the every need of 42 residents living with a range of age‑related health conditions, physical disabilities, mental health conditions and dementia.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal hygiene and dressing for the day or retiring to bed for the evening.
- Support residents during mealtimes to maintain good nutrition and hydration.
- Encourage residents to mobilise safely around the home, with the support of mobility aids and specialist equipment.
- Provide friendship and companionship, and accompany residents on social outings or appointments.
- Maintain accurate and timely written records and complete documentation.
- Work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team, engaging with other care professionals to promote the health and well‑being of residents.
- Welcome family members to the home and assist with enquiries.

What we’re looking for
To be successful, bring a genuine caring nature and a desire to make a real difference for our residents. Prior experience as a Care Assistant or Support worker is desirable but not essential as full training is provided. Experience with age‑related conditions, life‑limiting health conditions, physical disabilities, and dementia is beneficial. We value patience, understanding, and respect for each resident’s individual abilities.
