Role Responsibilities
- Play a crucial role in providing HR support for contract tenders and support M&A activities across the UK within the non-fuel business including due diligence, consultation, TUPE transfers and integration delivery.
- Provide expert guidance and actively manage restructures, acquisitions, TUPE and redundancies programs across the business.
- Actively support with post-acquisition business integration and harmonisation initiatives within a unionised environment.
- Introduce a grading system for key operational roles working with the operational business manager, H&S and training team in collaboration with the unions.
- Introduce performance evaluations for all roles, including operational roles, across the business working with the regional HR Managers and operational teams; and implement a succession planning process on a regional and company wide basis.
- Play a key role in supporting annual HR activities including pay reviews, bonus, insurance renewals, benefit reviews providing data analytics and reporting.
- Develop a suite of HR KPIs / metrics to improve HR analytics and decision making and to measure the effectiveness of ER initiatives including absenteeism, employee turnover, overtime rates, and provide reports on ER activity to senior leadership.
- Be the main point of contact for all people data analysis requests, and deliver monthly KPI reports.
- Develop a suite of aligned HR policies and procedures harmonised across a number of different legal entities / businesses that are aligned with the company’s core values and fully compliant with changing legislation.
- Understand the implications of any changes and actively participate in consultations with employees and unions regarding proposed changes.
- Produce standard operating procedures (SOPs), process maps, forms and templates.
- Implement and drive process change and automation, identifying technologies and automation to deliver lean / productive solutions within the business including T&A systems.
- Act as the HR Manager for the PrimeFlight Non-Fuel HQ / Functional team delivering end to end HR support services.
- Develop a HR SharePoint in line with model in place in parent company.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with employees, managers, and trade unions to support the delivery of key operational projects into the business.
- Deliver pragmatic HR solutions that are both commercial and operational aligned to the business strategy, and fully compliant with company policy and law.
- Implement PMO governance frameworks, ensuring that HR projects are delivered on time, within scope and on budget.
- Maintain project documentation where appropriate including reports, risk register and tracking mechanisms.
- Adhere to safety policies and practices, ensuring all change activities support a safe and just working culture.
- Champion the development of a performance culture.
- Be our ambassador, representing PrimeFlight in a professional and brand-aligned manner, reflecting our values and business strategy and represent the HR department consistently and with professionalism.
What we’re looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree is minimum CIPD qualified (level 7 or above) with evidence of continuous professional development.
- Minimum 10 years in a senior HR Management role.
- Experience of working within a similar industry and sector and within a fast paced, unionised environment.
- Demonstrable experience managing HR Projects, HR transformation and acquisition integrations at a manager level.
- Experience with acquisition, integration and change management processes.
- Previously worked in an Agile environment.
- Strong generalist HR experience with a solid understanding of employment law and best practices.
- Proven ability to manage a varied workload with changing priorities.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Effective stakeholder management and engagement skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office (pivot tables, V look ups) and HR systems.
- Role is based in London (5 days per week) but will require significant travel across the station network.
- Can obtain security clearance and qualify for an air-side security pass (no legal restrictions).
- Possesses a full clean UK driving licence.
