About the role
We are looking for a commercially driven, entrepreneurial Senior Business Development Manager to build and grow our commercial business across the UK. Primed Talent has established strength in the public sector. We are now looking to strengthen and scale our commercial / corporate business by expanding relationships with private-sector employers and organisations that need support in workforce development, reskilling, upskilling, training, talent consulting, and related business solutions. This is a high-impact individual contributor role for someone who enjoys opening doors, creating opportunities from scratch, and winning new business in a growth-stage environment. The successful candidate will operate with a hunter mindset and help shape the next phase of our commercial growth.
Key responsibilities
- Build and grow the commercial business across the UK private sector
- Identify, target, and win new clients for Primed Talent’s commercial offerings
- Drive new business across services related to:
- Corporate training
- Reskilling and upskilling
- Talent consulting
- Learning and workforce capability solutions
- General business and training-related services
Candidate profile
- 5–15 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or commercial growth roles
- Strong track record in new business acquisition and hunter‑led sales activity
- Experience selling services rather than only products
- Exposure to one or more of the following would be highly relevant:
- Corporate training
- Learning and development solutions
- Reskilling / upskilling solutions
- Talent consulting
- Consulting‑led service offerings
