Role Description
The Employability Skills & Career Development Trainer will design and deliver training programs that prepare learners for the workplace, focusing on employability, career readiness, and core life skills.
Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and facilitating interactive live training sessions, creating and updating training materials, and tailoring content to the needs of diverse learner groups.
The trainer will coach participants on CV/resume writing, interview preparation, professional communication, and workplace behavior, while tracking progress and providing constructive feedback.
Collaboration with internal teams to align training with client requirements and contribute to continuous improvement of curricula is expected.
This is a remote contract role, requiring the trainer to manage their schedule, maintain high-quality learning experiences, and support participants across different locations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Presentation Skills and the ability to engage and motivate learners in virtual and live training environments.
- Candidates should possess Training & Development experience, including designing and facilitating workshops, and evaluating learning outcomes.
- Candidates should possess Life Skills coaching capabilities, such as guiding learners in career planning, time management, and professional etiquette.
- Candidates should possess Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to adapt messages to varied audiences.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Soft Skills development, including teamwork, problem-solving, adaptability, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience delivering employability or career-readiness programs, preferably within diverse and multicultural learner populations.
- Relevant education in Training, Education, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field; professional training or coaching certifications are an advantage.
