We are currently seeking a highly professional and organised individual to fill the position of Personal Assistant and Events Organiser for our Managing Director. The successful candidate will be based in our Godalming office, but could also work remotely, and will be responsible for ensuring that the company runs efficiently and smoothly, while maintaining a professional image with clients.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a Personal Assistant to the Managing Director, handling calls, emails, and appointments
- Organise and manage events, including meetings, conferences, and client events
- Maintain an organised office environment, ensuring that all paperwork is filed appropriately
- Provide support to the Managing Director in their day-to-day activities
- Ensure that invoicing and accounting activities are up to date and the accountants are given timely information
- Liaise with clients and suppliers in a professional and friendly manner
- Be available to provide support at events, when necessary
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Personal Assistant and Events Organiser
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- Familiarity with accounting processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A friendly and approachable personality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
