Primech Building Services is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing electrical systems for a variety of projects across commercial and industrial sectors. Your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring that all electrical projects are safe, efficient, and compliant with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project managers, other engineering disciplines, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives.
  • Perform site visits and inspections to assess project requirements and compliance.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in electrical engineering and recommend improvements.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and design principles.
  • ECS Gold card holder is a must.
  • Testing experience (2391 preferred but not essential).
  • Troubleshooting & fault finding experience.
  • Experience of maintaining electrical equipment (routine maintenance).
  • A good understanding of 3 Phase and Single Phase pumps and motors.
  • A good understanding of commercial and domestic heating control wiring.
  • BMS experience (preferred but not essential).
  • Experience in the installation of containment systems (tray, basket, ladder and metal conduit).
  • Extensive knowledge of the BS 7671 wiring regulations.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with project teams.
  • Full UK driver's license as site visits may be required.
