Primech Building Services is looking for a dedicated and experienced FM Electrician to join our facilities management team. In this role, you will be tasked with performing electrical maintenance and repairs within various facilities to ensure efficient operation and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment in facilities.
- Install, test, and repair electrical components, ensuring all work complies with local codes and regulations.
- Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot electrical issues across multiple sites.
- Collaborate with the facilities management team to develop maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections accurately.
- Participate in emergency response activities related to electrical failures and outages.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing all work, promoting a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in a facilities management or maintenance context.
- Relevant qualifications and certifications (e.g., JIB, 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations).
- Testing and inspecting qualification required.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting techniques, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Full UK driving license, as travel to various sites will be required.
