Job Description

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Assistant Web and Graphic Designer to join our team, playing a pivotal role in our groundbreaking project which on its next stage of formalization (a blockchain-based platform for halal certification & accreditation) in the food industry. This role is integral to our business expansion strategy, and the successful candidate will have excellent exposure to various developmental activities. This is to support our HalalSecure® Certification Scheme for the Global Halal Certification & Accreditation Platform. This new‑entrant role is preferred for a UK graduate, providing opportunities to local graduates as we achieve our business goals. Our micro‑business is expanding halal consultancy and digital traceability in the food sector. The candidate should be capable of taking the following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

1. Web Design & Development of Certification Mark: A skilled designer is essential to create culturally resonant UI/UX for our web design and marketing assets, strengthening client trust and market reach in the food industry worldwide while focusing on cyber‑secure assets.
2. Coordination with Technology Partners for understanding the requirements: Assist in web development and updates in coordination with the Market Research team and our dedicated blockchain technology partners, facilitating design, system updates, cyber‑security updates, and marketing asset creation while ensuring alignment with project milestones.
3. Content Creation and Publication on the Webpages and Social Media: Design social media campaigns, create content, and publish on social media, ensuring compliance with GDPR requirements.
4. Feedback Integration: Collect and integrate feedback through webpages and social media to continually improve the webpages and redesign content and graphics as per customer or market requirements, fostering a collaborative environment for continuous improvement.
5. Market Expansion Strategy Implementation: Create a webpage, social media presence, and graphical representation that serve as a front face of the organization, supporting our expansion strategy in close coordination with evolving halal certification and food industry market needs.
6. Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including IT professionals and stakeholders, to drive synergy between market research insights and blockchain development efforts.

Qualifications

1. Master’s degree in designing, multimedia, graphic designing, MSc Cyber Security (NCSC UK Accredited RQF Level 7), information technology or computer science qualification.
2. 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in web/graphic design as a minimum requirement.
3. Right to work in the UK as a full‑time employee or a valid Graduate Route UK visa.
4. Strong analytical and creative thinking, and proficiency in content creation and design across web, graphics, and all campaign materials.
5. Good communication skills to convey complex halal market insights and experience working with stakeholders.
6. Understanding of Halal and Islamic Sharia principles to conduct need analysis and keep the digital platform Sharia‑compliant (compulsory).

• Salary- Depending on experience and qualifications.
• Hours – 37.5 hours
• Holidays – 28, including bank holidays.
• Travel expense – Original TA/DA and accommodation during visits.
