The role involves supporting the delivery of high‐quality medical communications across publications, events, strategic programmes, and client initiatives. Working closely with the Client Services team, you will ensure that all projects are delivered on time and on budget, focusing on day‐to‐day client and account management, maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring strategic objectives are met, and overseeing the smooth progression of projects from briefing through to completion.
You will manage timelines, coordinate with Editorial and Studio teams, and ensure effective communication across internal and external stakeholders. In addition, you will exercise strong financial oversight, including managing budgets, monitoring account health, and ensuring revenue and recovery targets are achieved. You will play an active part in business development by identifying opportunities within existing accounts, contributing to proposals, and supporting new business efforts.
The right candidate will thrive organizing and managing the specifics of project delivery to guarantee that projects awarded are cutting edge, impactful, accurately priced, and delivered on time and on budget through effective client handling and account management.
Requirements:
- Approximately 3‐4 years of healthcare agency experience in client services roles
- Experience organising and attending scientific meetings (e.g., congresses, symposia, advisory boards)
- Numeracy skills
- Strong project management and project delivery skills
- Ability to coordinate the delivery of multiple projects within an account
- Relationship development skills – client handling/networking
- Ability to mentor junior staff
- Strategic understanding of project/account objectives and contribution to strategic account planning
