The role involves supporting the delivery of high quality medical communications across publications, events, strategic programmes, and client initiatives. Working closely with the Client Services team, the position ensures that all projects are delivered on time and on budget. Responsibilities include:
- Day-to-day client and account management
- Maintaining strong client relationships
- Ensuring strategic objectives are met
- Overseeing the smooth progression of projects from briefing through to completion
- Managing timelines and coordinating with Editorial and Studio teams
- Ensuring effective communication across internal and external stakeholders
- Strong financial oversight, including managing budgets, monitoring account health, and ensuring revenue and recovery targets are achieved
- Identifying opportunities within existing accounts and contributing to proposals
- Supporting new business efforts
The right candidate will enjoy organising and managing the specifics of project delivery to ensure that projects awarded are cutting edge, have impact, are accurately priced, and are delivered on time and on budget through effective client handling and account management.
Requirements:
- Approximately 3–4 years’ healthcare agency experience in client services roles
- Experience organising and attending scientific meetings (e.g. congresses, symposia, advisory boards)
- Numeracy skills
- Strong project management and project delivery skills
- Ability to co-ordinate the delivery of multiple projects within an account
- Relationship development skills – client handling/networking
- Ability to mentor junior staff
- Strategic understanding of project/account objectives and contribution to strategic account planning
