As a Commercial Finance Manager at Prime, you will play a key role in strengthening financial insight and planning across the business. You will partner with senior stakeholders to provide high-quality analysis and commercial insight that supports decision-making and drives business performance in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- You will work closely with the Head of FP&A and leadership team to lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- You will deliver clear, actionable reporting and analysis across revenue, margin, and cost performance, using tools such as Power BI and advanced Excel modelling.
- A key part of the role is translating complex financial data into insight that drives decisions and accountability.
- You will support commercial activities including client profitability, pricing, and bids, as well as conducting post-project reviews to identify opportunities to improve performance.
- You will also contribute to strategic initiatives, including system improvements, scenario modelling, and investment decisions.

Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience in commercial finance or FP&A roles.
- Proven experience delivering high-quality financial planning, analysis, and reporting in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to influence decision-making and drive business performance.
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling and working with large, complex datasets.
- Experience using data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI) to deliver actionable insights.
- Experience supporting pricing, profitability analysis, and commercial decision-making.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence at senior level.
- Experience in a professional services, Private Equity-backed, or high-growth environment is advantageous.
