This is a genuinely interesting one. Our client is a well-established physical security business with a strong reputation across the South of England, working alongside a fast-moving early-stage security tech company that is building out its go-to-market function. You'll split your time across both, giving you the stability of an established brand and warm pipeline, alongside real exposure to a startup environment as it scales.
You'll start focused almost entirely on the established security business, working a pool of 900 warm leads generated through past marketing activity that has never been properly followed up, with new tools being added to support prospecting. From the autumn, your time will move to a 50/50 split, adding outbound work for the earlier-stage business as it begins to build its own commercial engine.
What You'll Be Doing
- Prospecting and outreach into large enterprise accounts, targeting organisations with significant scale and complex buying structures
- Working closely with facilities, security and estates decision makers within major corporates
- Managing a warm inbound and outbound pipeline, using tools like Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo
- Booking qualified meetings for the wider sales team
- From October, splitting focus to support outbound activity for a second, earlier-stage business within the same group
What We're Looking For
- 1 to 2 years of SDR experience in a B2B environment, ideally selling into enterprise accounts
- Comfortable navigating larger organisations and reaching multiple stakeholders within one account
- A background in cybersecurity, managed services, or physical security is a strong plus, though not essential
- High energy, direct, and a genuine self-starter, someone who can stay organised while balancing two priorities at once
- Familiarity with MEDPIC or similar qualification frameworks is a bonus, not a requirement
What's On Offer
- £40,000 basic salary, with £20,000 OTE (£60,000 total)
- A rare split role that offers the security of an established business and the upside of an early-stage one
- Genuine progression path, with the opportunity to move into an Account Executive role as the earlier-stage business grows
- A business actively investing in headcount, tools and go-to-market strategy across both UK and US markets from later this year
