This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for an ambitious SDR looking to take their career into enterprise and technology sales. You'll work across two complementary businesses: an established, highly respected security company and a fast-growing security technology business building out its go-to-market function. It's a rare combination of enterprise clients, an established brand, warm pipeline and genuine start-up exposure — giving you the opportunity to develop your sales career while getting involved in a technology business at an exciting stage of its growth.
Why this opportunity? The established security business has almost 30 years' experience and is rated in the top 1% of UK security companies. It protects around £5bn of UK real estate and works with an impressive client base including De Beers, Historic Royal Palaces, the Grosvenor Estate, Harwell Life Sciences Park and the NHS, as well as providing security services to three royal families. Alongside this, you'll work with an early-stage security technology business selling its own proprietary security intelligence platform to large, regulated enterprises. The technology brings together physical, cyber and operational security data to help organisations identify threats, understand risk and respond more effectively. From the autumn, the role will move towards a 50/50 split, giving you genuine exposure to both enterprise security sales and the development of a technology-led start-up.
What you'll be doing:
- Prospecting into large enterprise organisations
- Engaging senior decision makers across security, facilities, estates and related functions
- Building and managing outbound pipeline using tools such as Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo
- Creating new business opportunities and booking qualified meetings
- Navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments
- Supporting the development of the go-to-market strategy for the technology business
- Working closely with senior leadership as the business scales
What we're looking for:
- 1–2 years' B2B SDR experience, ideally selling into enterprise accounts
- Confident prospecting and engaging senior stakeholders
- Commercially driven, ambitious and target-focused
- Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Experience in SaaS, technology, cybersecurity, managed services or security is advantageous
- A genuine desire to build a career in enterprise/technology sales
What's on offer?
- £40,000 basic + £20,000 OTE (£60,000) – uncapped
- Enterprise sales experience with high-profile clients
- Genuine exposure to security technology and proprietary software
- The opportunity to work within an early-stage technology business
- A clear opportunity to progress towards an AE position as the business grows
- Exposure to a business expanding its UK and US go-to-market operation
- The backing and credibility of an established company with an exceptional reputation and client base
If you're an ambitious SDR looking for enterprise experience, technology exposure and the opportunity to get in early with a growing business, this is one worth a conversation.
