Accelerating Life-Changing Solutions to Global Healthcare Challenges is the vision that unites us through a shared sense of purpose, whatever the role. It speaks to the significant challenges that exist within global healthcare, and how we, as one team, can help to deliver better solutions and outcomes for our partners and for patients everywhere, sooner.

Your job description outlines the important role and responsibilities that you own in achieving this vision. Importantly too is how we go about living our vision. This is defined by the Prime mission: Through a pioneering fusion of the finest expertise in science, strategy, evidence, technology and creativity we deliver the world-class outcomes that our global partners trust to achieve their goals. It speaks to collaboration and to everyone's responsibility to bring together the diverse expertise that exist across our team to deliver world-class outcomes.

On this foundation, we have defined four core values, these represent the shared principles that guide our behaviours every day, whatever your role: Be Brave, Be Human, Be Passionate, Be Exceptional. At Prime these values are integral to who we are. They are there to guide you in your role and support you on your personal journey to success. They shape our culture and support us in achieving our vision together, as one global team.

The role:

As a UX Engineer you will lead the design of complex digital products and web applications, ensuring they are intuitive, accessible, and technically sound. You'll create high fidelity wireframes and prototypes, produce clear UX documentation, run usability testing, and act as the key link between clients, stakeholders, and development teams. Your work will focus on solving real user problems through strong UX principles and system led design rather than pure aesthetics.

The ideal candidate has experience designing within structured platforms (e.g. Sitecore, AEM, SharePoint), can confidently present to clients, and communicates technical concepts in a clear, user-friendly way. You should be comfortable collaborating with developers, have basic front end fluency, and bring a portfolio that highlights solid usability and user centered thinking. If you're driven by creating efficient, well structured digital experiences, we'd love to hear from you.

Location:

Ideally you will be able to commute to our Baldock office twice a week however this is not essential and a remote position can be considered.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience working in a mid-senior level UX focussed role with technical and digital elements ideally in a digital and creative agency
  • Strong foundational understanding of digital product/platform and system design principles
  • Expert in Figma
  • Experience with different platforms and ecosystems when there are design constraints such as a specific component library or guidelines that must be adhered to e.g. Sitecore, AEM or a SharePoint site
  • Excellent ability to communicate technical requirements and constraints to a non-technical audience
  • Proficiency in writing all core UX documentation: user test scripts, user stories, and user personas
  • Demonstrated experience in a client-facing or senior stakeholder presentation role
  • Basic to good technical fluency in front-end technologies, allowing for effective dialogue with developers
  • A portfolio that clearly prioritizes and showcases solid user experience and usability over creative aesthetics
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a high degree of user empathy and attention to detail

Benefits:

  • 33 days annual leave
  • Birthday day off
  • 5% pension contribution
  • Private medical health insurance
  • WORKsmart - allows employees to have flexibility around their start and finish time
  • Hybrid Working
