At the South East Trunk Road Electrical Team, they’re dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the safety and efficiency of these vital transportation networks. They take pride in their work and are looking for an exceptional Approved Electrician to help them achieve their goal.
Role includes:
- Conducting regular inspections and electrical maintenance on both the Forth Road Bridge, Queensferry Crossing and South East Trunk Road facilities.
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults efficiently to minimize disruptions to road users.
- Contributing to the implementation of electrical system upgrades and enhancements for these projects.
- Collaborating with a team of skilled professionals to ensure the safe operation of these critical infrastructure elements.
- Strictly adhering to safety standards and regulations to uphold the safety of the public and your team.
- Providing technical expertise and recommendations for continuous improvements.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Full approval as an Electrician, backed by relevant certifications and licenses.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical maintenance and repair.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to perform efficiently under demanding conditions.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical safety regulations and practices.
- Willingness to work in various conditions, including heights and confined spaces.
- A fully approved UK driving licence.
