Key Responsibilities
- Perform TIG and MIG welding on light gauge materials (1mm-4mm) mainly aluminium.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
- Measure, cut, and align materials using calipers, clamps, and straightedges.
- Set up and operate TIG welding equipment.
- Carry out grinding, thermal cutting, and finishing operations to spec.
- Use power and hand tools such as orbital sanders, grinders, and hand drills.
- Ensure all welding meets required quality and construction standards.
- Maintain knowledge of metal characteristics and appropriate welding techniques.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment.
- Perform preventative maintenance and assist in basic equipment repairs.
- Weld test required as part of the selection process.
What We\’re Looking For
- Proven experience in TIG/MIG welding and fabrication.
- Confident working with light gauge materials (1mm-4mm).
