The Role

They are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join their growing team. This is a key role responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities for our clients annual subscription service. You will proactively engage potential clients, manage your sales pipeline through HubSpot CRM, and deliver an exceptional experience from first contact through to long-term account management. You will also work closely with internal teams to ensure that every client receives the highest standard of service that our client is known for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and contact potential future clients to introduce our clients services.
  • Set up and attend meetings (virtual and in-person) to present and sell their yearly subscription service.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities using HubSpot CRM.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.
  • Manage existing accounts to maximise retention and identify upsell opportunities.
  • Develop long-term relationships with key decision-makers and business leaders.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly new business targets.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, competitor offerings, and client needs.

Key Requirements

  • 3–5 years’ experience in SaaS sales or B2B business development, ideally within a construction related industry.
  • Proven track record in driving new business and achieving sales targets.
  • Experience in account management and customer retention.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, preferably HubSpot.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Commercially astute, consultative, and confident in managing senior client relationships.
  • Highly self-motivated, organised, and target-driven.
