Prime Workforce is currently recruiting experienced Scaffold Contracts Managers for a full-time, permanent position with our client based in Cumbernauld.
We are looking for dynamic, client-facing professionals with a proven track record in managing multiple scaffolding teams across a wide range of projects and contracts throughout Scotland. The ideal candidate will thrive in both site-based and office-based environments, demonstrating excellent leadership and communication skills while building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
In this role, you will take responsibility for overseeing the coordination and performance of scaffold squads, ensuring that all projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. As Contracts Manager, you will also provide leadership and support to Scaffold Project Managers, ensuring all contracts are progressing smoothly, meeting key deadlines, staying within budget, and achieving project targets.
Job Purpose
As a Scaffolding Contract Manager, you will manage a team of Project Managers, delivering multiple scaffolding projects across Scotland. Youll provide an excellent end-to-end scaffolding service to our clients, maintaining high standards and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients. Youll provide regular reports/updates on how your teams are progressing, recognising best practice and managing performance through others to achieve objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Assign projects to Project Managers and oversee their completion to QHSE and company standards.
Forward plan resources: materials, labour, transport, client programs
Make timely, informed decisions to maintain project momentum
Resolve project-related issues with confidence and creativity
Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve matters quickly and professionally
Provide update reports to Head of Operations for all aspects of projects
Consistently achieve required deadlines
Clear, regular and professional communication to both the internal team and clients.
Lead by example with professional, safety-first way of working
Oversee the preparation and delivery of all project-specific documentation including RAMS, designs, footprints, material lists, and price lists.
Ensure your team are operating in full compliance with A/S/S policies and procedures at all times.
Update Head of Operations regularly with progress, wins, learning and priorities
Manage and analyse all month-end documentation, report wins, learning and priorities to Head of Operations.
