Reports to: Lead Engineer
Contract: Full time 40 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00
Based: Glasgow

WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for an organised, self-motivated Engineer with well-developed interpersonal skills. You will be able to manage your tasks to deliver a high-quality service at a high tempo. You will be an effective communicator at all levels and can think on your feet and be responsive to the company's business needs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, upgrade, and maintain CCTV and security systems
- Engage in training to ensure up to date knowledge of product
- Maintain and adhere to Health & Safety Regulations at all times
- Communicate effectively with the team, customers and third parties taking ownership of user requests and escalating more complex service issues to the relevant team member when required
- Plan and undertake scheduled routine maintenance checks and upgrades
REQUIREMENTS (ESSENTIAL)
- 1-year minimum experience working within a similar technical role
- Being self-motivated and organised
- Working to deadlines
- A logical approach to problem solving
- Analytical skills
- Communicating effectively via email, phone and in person working both independently and as a team
- Learning quickly and adapting to complex concepts
- An honest and discreet approach to confidential information
- Prioritising and balancing multiple tasks
- Ability to work at height
- A willingness to learn new technologies and systems
- Full UK driving licence with no points or pending convictions
REQUIREMENTS (DESIRABLE)
- Knowledge of Dahua/Uniview/Ajax security systems and products
- Experience with planning and installing networks
- A good understanding of configuring network switches, routers, and Wi-Fi equipment
- Experience installing and configuring CCTV equipment
- A good understanding of CCTV equipment and the different types of systems available
