High Care Supervisor Location: London Salary: £33,500 per annum Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts Eligibility: Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available for this role. About the role We are looking for an experienced High Care Supervisor to join a busy food manufacturing operation in London. You will be responsible for supervising the High Care team, supporting day-to-day production, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene, and making sure production targets are met efficiently. The role also involves coaching team members, managing labour and waste, and supporting internal and external audits. Make sure all work is carried out safely and in line with health, safety and quality procedures. Monitor stock rotation and help reduce product and packaging waste. Support daily and weekly production planning and labour targets. Train and develop team members, providing regular feedback and support. Maintain accurate production and quality paperwork. Make sure products are prepared and packed to the correct customer specifications. Prepare the department for internal audits, external audits and customer visits. Identify operational issues and report them to the High Care Manager. Investigate non-conformances and support corrective actions. Good knowledge of manufacturing and production processes. Strong communication and people-management skills. The ability to coach and develop team members. Good numerical and written communication skills. The ability to work to deadlines and manage priorities. Good problem-solving and analytical skills. A strong understanding of food hygiene, quality and health and safety standards. Basic computer skills, with experience using Microsoft Office desirable.
