Qualified Person Responsible for Pharmacovigilance (QPPV) in the EU and UK (homebased)

  • We are PrimeVigilance (part of Ergomed PLC), a specialised mid-size pharmacovigilance service provider established in 2008. We support pharmaceutical and biotechnology partners across all therapy areas, including medical devices, with services in Medical Information, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs, and Quality Assurance.

    The EU QPPV is responsible for:

  • Establishing and maintaining a system to collect and collate information on all suspected adverse reactions reported within the Community;
  • Responding promptly to requests from Competent Authorities (CAs) for additional information to evaluate benefits and risks of medicinal products;
  • Providing relevant safety information to CAs, including details on post-authorisation safety studies;
  • Being available to CAs and the Agency, with adequate backup procedures in place;
  • Overseeing the safety profiles of the company\’s medicinal products, monitoring safety concerns, conditions of marketing authorisations, and safety-related commitments.

Qualifications include:

  • Life-science education background (Medicine or Pharmacy preferred)
  • Solid knowledge of PV system operations and global regulations
  • Strong operational and managerial skills demonstrated through leadership of projects or functions
  • Extensive experience in PV roles, particularly as QPPV
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills
