This is a uniquely dual-natured role that sits at the intersection of operational excellence and strategic vision. As Social Channels & Platforms Manager, you will define the strategic direction for your assigned social platforms while being quick to adjust the operation of our social handles to optimize results.
Key job responsibilities:
- Manage day to day of a group of Prime Video social media handles, overseeing editorial plans and problem solving.
- Allocate organic boosting budgets optimally.
- Define the strategic approach to social platforms.
- Be agile, shifting quickly to respond to performance signals, platform algorithm changes and new features.
- Orchestrate with internal teams to ensure the best content is provided for social handles.
- Manage social media agency and oversee platform planning and management.
- Partner with social platforms to identify new opportunities and develop innovative activations.
- Track, analyze and report results on a weekly, monthly, quarterly cadence.
- Unblock issues, provide escalation management, anticipate and make recommendations for trade-offs, and meet delivery timelines.
About The Team:
Amazon MGM Studios is the home for talent, creating and producing Original films and television series for a global audience. Original series premiere exclusively on Prime Video, which is available in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in professional non-internship marketing.
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables).
- Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns.
- Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams.
- Experience in social media management for fast-paced, entertainment brands.
- Experience with social platforms strategy and optimization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in multi-territory campaign management.
- Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process.
