Prime Sports UK are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our team, delivering high-quality physical activity sessions across primary schools in Bradford and Halifax. This is a dual-role position combining school-time and after-school coaching with lead responsibilities during school holiday sports camps. This is an exciting opportunity for a coach who is passionate about inspiring young people, confident in leading groups, and able to deliver engaging, safe, and inclusive sessions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality sports and physical activity sessions to primary-aged children
  • Plan and adapt sessions to suit different ages, abilities, and group sizes
  • Create a fun, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
  • Support the development of fundamental movement skills and teamwork
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour, safety, and safeguarding at all times
  • Set up and pack away equipment safely and responsibly
  • Communicate effectively with children, school staff, parents, and colleagues
  • Represent the organisation professionally at all times

Skills & Experience

  • Experience working with children in a sports or activity setting
  • Passion for sport, physical activity, and working with young people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and engage children of all abilities
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
  • Relevant coaching qualifications (e.g. sports coaching, PE, or activity leadership)
  • Experience delivering sessions in schools or holiday clubs
  • Safeguarding training
  • Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS check (or ability to obtain one)
