We’re working with a growing collection of premium London pubs and bars to find an ambitious Head Chef to take ownership of the kitchen and make their mark on the food offering. This is a genuinely food-led business. The focus is on fresh, seasonal produce, quality ingredients and food that people actually want to come back for. Think proper Sunday roasts, beautifully cooked meats, seasonal specials and elevated pub classics — well-executed, generous and built around great produce. This is an opportunity for a chef who wants more than simply running a kitchen. You’ll have the freedom to bring ideas to the table, develop your team and play a real part in shaping the identity of the venue. The Role As Head Chef, you’ll take full ownership of the kitchen and food operation, working closely with the General Manager to deliver an excellent food experience while keeping the kitchen commercially strong. You’ll be responsible for: * Leading and developing the kitchen team * Delivering consistently high-quality food across every service * Working with fresh, seasonal produce and quality ingredients * Creating and developing seasonal dishes and specials * Delivering excellent Sunday roasts and quality pub classics * Managing GP, food costs, stock and kitchen budgets * Ordering and maintaining strong supplier relationships * Recruiting, training and developing your team * Maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards What We're Looking For We’re looking for a proper chef and a strong kitchen leader. You’ll ideally have experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef ready for their next step, or senior kitchen manager within a premium pub, gastro pub, restaurant, hotel or other quality-led food operation. You’ll be someone who: * Has a genuine passion for fresh, seasonal food * Is confident with meat, fish and classic pub cooking * Knows what makes a great Sunday roast * Takes real pride in the food leaving the kitchen * Can lead and develop a team * Understands GP, labour and kitchen costs * Is comfortable in a busy, high-volume environment Most importantly, you’ll be hands-on, ambitious and passionate about hospitality. The Opportunity This is a chance to join a business with a strong reputation across London and a growing collection of individual pubs and bars, each with its own personality. You won’t be walking into a rigid operation where every decision has already been made. You’ll have the opportunity to influence the food, develop your people and build something you can genuinely put your name to. There is also genuine opportunity to progress within the wider group as the business continues to grow. Interested? If you're a Head Chef who wants to work somewhere where food actually matters, we'd love to hear from you.
