Skilled Construction Operative - Derry / Londonderry Location: Derry / Londonderry, County Londonderry Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Pay Rate: £13.60 to £14.10per hour Job Description Prime Recruitment Services is recruiting an experienced Skilled Construction Operative on behalf of our client, an established property maintenance and construction company operating across Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will work across residential and social housing properties in the Derry / Londonderry area, supporting the delivery of high-quality construction, repair and maintenance services. Key Responsibilities Carry out general construction, repair and maintenance work on occupied and vacant properties. Undertake kerbing, flagging, paving and groundwork activities. Complete fencing installation and repairs. Carry out blockwork, concreting and associated building tasks. Assist qualified tradespeople with daily maintenance and construction activities. Safely operate hand tools, power tools and relevant construction equipment. Load, unload and organise construction materials. Work alongside colleagues to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard. Essential Criteria Previous experience in construction, property maintenance, groundworks or a similar role. Full UK driving licence. Ability to demonstrate relevant practical construction experience. Reliable, flexible and able to manage workloads effectively. Desirable Criteria Previous experience within the social housing sector. Working at Heights / Harness Training. Competitive pay, dependent on experience. Permanent, full-time employment.
