Purpose of the Role

Contribute to the operational effectiveness of the City and Neighbourhood Services Department by performing a range of manual labour duties, supporting the Open Spaces and Street Scene Division.

️ Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of manual labour tasks to maintain parks, open spaces, and surrounding areas.
• Assist with waste collection, street cleaning, and general grounds maintenance.
• Safely operate tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality services.
• Adhere to health and safety standards to ensure safe working conditions.

Requirements & Skills

• Physical fitness for sustained manual labour tasks.
• Previous experience in grounds maintenance or similar roles is desirable.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Strong communication skills.
• Willingness to perform a variety of tasks as needed.
