What You'll Be Doing

As a Business Support Clerk, you'll play a key role in delivering an efficient and professional support service across the council. No two days will be the same as you:

Provide administrative and clerical support across a range of council services

Manage records, filing systems, correspondence and documentation

Process internal and external mail

Handle telephone enquiries and provide excellent customer service

Input, retrieve and maintain information using various IT systems

Produce letters, reports, presentations and other documents

Organise meetings, manage diaries and take accurate meeting notes and minutes

Support routine business functions including finance, HR, customer support and administration

Assist with data collection, performance information and statistical reporting

Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure services are delivered efficiently and effectively

Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel
