The Company:
Our client is an industry-leading facilities management company which covers over 30,000 properties across the island of Ireland.
The Role:
A rewarding position which requires an individual to work flexibly and use their own initiative in a fast-moving environment. Currently recruiting Heating Engineers located in the Belfast and County Down Areas.
Main duties:
- Carry out gas and oil servicing
- Response maintenance as and when required
- Communicate with management and Quantity Surveyor
- Itemize the work to be carried out in customers' dwellings and premises
- Carry out the actual work to the high-quality standards that the organization expects
- Uphold Data Protection Policies
- Travel across Northern Ireland and Ireland as required
- Undertake any other duty deemed necessary by Management, to ensure the efficient running of the business
Health & Safety:
- Adhere to all health & safety regulations and company policy at all times
- Report any accidents or issues regarding health & safety appropriately
- Ensure all Risk Assessments & safe systems of work are read, understood, signed and followed
- Observe & follow all manual handling practices
What they are looking for:
- NVQ Level 2 Plumbing or equivalent
- Must be eligible for OFTEC and On Gas Safe Register
- Evidence of gas courses either CCN1, CEN1, CKR1, MET1 or others
- Completed and up to date Gas qualifications
- Valid CSR Card or formal Health and Safety Training
- Full UK Driving License
- Experience in construction or plumbing and heating industry
