Are you passionate about fitness, wellbeing, customer service, and helping others enjoy a safe and positive leisure experience? We're looking for enthusiastic, energetic and customer-focused Leisure Assistants to join our Sports Services Team at Lagan Valley LeisurePlex. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant leisure environment where no two days are the same.
Whether you're supervising the pool, supporting activities across the centre, helping customers make the most of our facilities, or ensuring our high standards of safety and cleanliness are maintained, you'll play a vital role in delivering an exceptional experience for every visitor.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing professional lifeguarding cover and maintaining the highest safety standards
- Delivering excellent customer service and creating positive experiences for all visitors
- Ensuring the facility remains clean, safe and well-presented at all times
- Setting up and dismantling sports and activity equipment safely and efficiently
- Supervising customers and supporting the delivery of leisure programmes and activities
- Completing safety checks, cleaning records and incident reports accurately
- Supporting new team members and work placement students as required
What We're Looking For
- Reliable, approachable and committed to delivering outstanding customer care
- Current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (minimum 4m depth requirement)
- Awareness of Child Protection and Vulnerable Adult issues
- Ability to successfully complete the Point of Entry Swim Test
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and shifts on a rota basis
- A positive attitude, strong communication skills and a commitment to teamwork
