Key Duties- Plant trees, shrubs, and seasonal plants
- Carry out grass cutting, hedge trimming and turf care
- Maintain and mark sports pitches, cricket squares, and bowling greens
- Operate machinery including mowers and tractor-mounted equipment
- Apply pesticides (PA1 & PA6 required) and identify turf diseases
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
- NVQ Level 2 in Horticulture (or equivalent)
- PA1 & PA6 Pesticide Application Certificates
- At least 1 year's experience in:
- Maintaining fine turf and sports facilities
- Applying Health & Safety practices and using tools/equipment
- Engaging with the public face-to-face
- Strong team working skills
- Health & safety awareness
- Solid horticultural and gardening knowledge
- Clear and professional communication
- A high standard of customer care
