Key Duties
  • Plant trees, shrubs, and seasonal plants
  • Carry out grass cutting, hedge trimming and turf care
  • Maintain and mark sports pitches, cricket squares, and bowling greens
  • Operate machinery including mowers and tractor-mounted equipment
  • Apply pesticides (PA1 & PA6 required) and identify turf diseases
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
You Must Have
  • NVQ Level 2 in Horticulture (or equivalent)
  • PA1 & PA6 Pesticide Application Certificates
  • At least 1 year's experience in:
  • Maintaining fine turf and sports facilities
  • Applying Health & Safety practices and using tools/equipment
  • Engaging with the public face-to-face
